The Sharperson Heritage Museum:
The elevation
facades represent the late Georgian period architectural
style. This classical style developed in England from the
Classical Revival brought to America during the 18th century.
The front elevation is ornamented with columns and entablature
of the Corinthian order and the rear facade has a portico and
balcony of the Doric order. The rear facade also has
Corinthian pilasters. The building facade is limestone with
stone quoins at the corners and the base of the building has a
stone water table.
